A traitor who collected intelligence, prepared sabotage and planned to become a member of the Ukrainian parliament to spy and pass information to russian special services has been detained in Odesa. This was reported by the Security Service of Ukraine, according to UNN.
Details
According to the investigation, russian special services remotely recruited a resident of Odesa in October. He joined a local public organization dealing with environmental issues and placed his political advertisements on several passenger buses to promote his candidacy for the Ukrainian parliament.
The defendant received money for "PR" from the FSB. He also requested a monthly remuneration of 5,500 dollars.
In addition, the traitor tried to identify the locations of air defense and coastal defense facilities of the city, including anti-ship complexes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He transmitted the information to the occupiers through a popular messenger, using different phones and numbers.
Later, the enemy agent also wrote an application to join the Kremlin's United Russia party, hoping that in the event of the capture of the region, he would become a member of the occupation administration.
