France will propose pan-European sanctions against Russian companies that spread disinformation. This was announced by French Foreign Minister Stephane Sejournet, reports UNN citing Reuters.
"russia has resorted ... to lying and manipulating our public opinion, in particular by funding interference, promoting false media and blaming Ukraine," Sejourne said at a news conference in Paris with U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken.
He said Europe is determined to stop Russia's destabilization efforts.
"I will propose a sanctions regime against those who support disinformation and destabilization in the country and Europe as a whole," Sejournet said.
