For the first time, the Supreme Court has ruled that the transfer of a religious community from the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate to the Orthodox Church of Ukraine is legal. This is stated on the Facebook page of the Supreme Court, reports UNN.

The court was informed that some residents of the village of Kalynivka, Zhytomyr region, decided to voluntarily change their canonical affiliation by joining the Orthodox Church of Ukraine. However, this step was challenged in court.
