Ivano-Frankivsk region experienced emergency power outages due to a storm that hit the region the day before, Prykarpattyaoblenergo reported on Friday, UNN reports.

"Due to yesterday's storm, there are emergency blackouts in Dolyna community. There are 50 0.4 kV outages, partial outages at high-voltage connections, 19 wire breaks and four poles that need to be replaced," the power company said on Telegram.
As indicated, local power crews are involved in the disaster relief and power supply restoration.
"In addition, thunderstorms, hail and wind gusts of up to 15-20 m/s are expected in Prykarpattia by the end of the day today. Therefore, we remind you of the danger of a broken wire and unauthorized attempts to restore power supply," the power company added.
