Today, March 11, a meeting of the Ukrainian-Polish Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation was held in Lviv. This is reported by the press service of the Ministry for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine, UNN reports.

It is noted that the Ukrainian delegation was headed by Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk. The Polish delegation was headed by Krzysztof Getman, Minister of Economic Development and Technology of the Republic of Poland.
The parties discussed cooperation in trade and investment, energy, environmental protection, agriculture, transport and infrastructure, credit and customs, defense industry, veterans' policy, etc
The participants of the meeting reviewed the status and conditions of the Brody-Adamovo oil pipeline construction project and confirmed the strategic importance of the project for strengthening the energy security of Ukraine and Poland, as well as other countries in the region.
The meeting also resulted in an agreement to modernize the Shehyni checkpoint.
Iryna Vereshchuk thanked the participants for their joint work and expressed her hope that the Commission would become one of the platforms for intensifying cooperation between Ukraine and the Republic of Poland.
I am confident that all the agreements reached as a result of our meeting will be implemented and will have a significant impact on the further development of mutually beneficial economic cooperation between our countries
