During the entire period of bad weather, we restored electricity to 651 settlements for 523 thousand families. To do this, specialists repaired 2,946 lines feeding 6,259 substations. They managed to stabilize the situation in the north of the region, most of the large-scale outages have been eliminated
DTEK specialists need to repair 126 more lines and 1,500 transformer substations to restore electricity to 54,000 more families.
To speed up the repairs, the company engages contractors and sends 7 crews from the northern districts of the region where the situation has stabilized to the more difficult districts of Izmail and Odesa.
"First of all, power engineers are restoring high-voltage lines that supply the largest number of customers, then repairing overhead lines and substations of distribution networks, and then working on individual requests," DTEK said.
