Ukrainian entrepreneurs complain about tax pressure and advise Danylo Hetmantsev, chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Finance, Taxation and Customs Policy, to think hard about reducing the burden on small entrepreneurs, as businesses are on the verge of closing. This is evidenced by a survey of entrepreneurs conducted by UNN during fairs in Kyiv.
Respondents complain that taxes in Ukraine are too high. According to them, in wartime, the government should, on the contrary, ease its tax policy.
Head of the NGO "All-Ukrainian Association "Fairs of Ukraine" Liliya Cherednichenko, who was also among the entrepreneurs interviewed by UNN, reminded that small business representatives have long been fighting against the wrong taxation system and demanding that it be changed for the benefit of business, not those who manage tax policy.
"During the war, we need to simplify the taxation system, because business is hanging by a thread. If we want to develop Ukraine's economy, we need to help business, and Mr. Hetmantsev should really, really think about this issue," added Cherednichenko.
In addition, the surveyed entrepreneurs note that the tax system in Ukraine does not work for people, but for the government. At the same time, in their opinion, the authorities are completely indifferent to small business in Ukraine.
"It seems to me that now they are trying to crush small businesses," said one of the interviewed entrepreneurs.

Earlier, in a poll by UNN, Ukrainians expressed dissatisfaction with the government's actions and tax policy, and advised Hetmantsev to introduce another tax on air, sleep and bad weather to finally "tighten the screws" on all citizens. The video of the survey can be viewed here.
