In addition, the press service of the State Border Guard Service reportedthat the registration of heavy trucks has begun at the Uhryniv-Dolhobychuv checkpoint.

"As of 7 a.m., that is, in six hours, 30 trucks have been cleared and crossed the border. As of the morning, about 60 trucks were waiting in lines to cross the border," Demchenko said.

Addendum

Earlier it was reported that starting December 4, Ukraine will open the Uhryniv-Dolhobyczów border to empty trucks weighing more than 7.5 tons to reduce congestion and increase capacity on the Ukraine-Poland border.

Ukraine and Poland agreed to unblock the Uhryniv-Dolhobyczów checkpoint for empty trucks and to create separate passes for empty vehicles at the Yahodyn-Dorohusk and Krakivets-Korczowa checkpoints in the eCheck system.
