A scooter collided with a shuttle bus at an unregulated intersection in Konotop, Sumy region, and the driver of the two-wheeler was injured, the regional police reported, UNN reports.

The accident occurred at an unregulated intersection of Baturynska and Vyrivska streets in Konotop. The collision occurred between a Bogdan bus and a Honda Dio scooter. As a result of the accident, the driver of the two-wheeler was injured and hospitalized for medical care.
Law enforcement officers opened a criminal proceeding over the incident on the grounds of Part 1 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine "Violation of the rules of road safety or operation of transport by persons driving vehicles."
Investigators are establishing the perpetrator of the incident as part of the criminal proceedings.
