President Volodymyr Zelenskyy chaired a meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Staff, where he analyzed recent attacks against Ukraine - missiles, massive drone strikes. A clear need is to develop and strengthen Ukrainian mobile fire groups, as well as all the most effective air defense systems. This was announced by Zelensky in his evening video address, UNN reports .
I have just held a special, long, detailed meeting of the Council of State. There were detailed reports at all levels: General Staff, Ministry of Defense, Prime Minister, regional authorities, commanders of the Joint Forces Operation. All decisions are in place. There must be full relevant work in the communities. Everything is absolutely detailed - our country will definitely have enough mines and concrete. We need more speed and efficiency, and everyone who is responsible for this has clear tasks
According to him, it was also important to analyze recent attacks against Ukraine - missiles, massive drone strikes.
"We analyzed the tactics of defense against our air defense. There is a clear need to develop and strengthen our mobile fire groups, as well as all the most effective air defense systems. We also analyzed the work of the Petriots and Nasams - everything is very effective, and I am grateful to our partners who help us with these systems. The commander of the Air Force and other relevant commanders, the Ministry of Defense have the necessary instructions," Zelenskyy said.
The President said that there were reports from the commanders of all frontline areas.
"Special attention is paid to the Donetsk areas: Avdiivka, Maryinka, Bakhmut area. The most intense fighting took place there over the last day. I thank all our soldiers for their strength and resilience. In the Kupyansk sector, I would like to emphasize the holding of our positions. Glory to all Ukrainian soldiers! Glory to our powerful people!" Zelensky said.
