The Head of State was told about the project of the regional military administration Titans.UA, created to support defenders on their way to recovering from injuries and realizing themselves in civilian life.
The ambassadors of the initiative are soldiers who have been seriously injured and have recovered from them. Their representatives will accompany veterans in every community in the region.
“Your main asset is that all the guys are together. And there is such a magnet. Well done for organizing this. It's nice when veterans come back and you can help your brothers-in-arms,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized.
The Head of State and Head of the RMA Serhiy Lysak discussed with the veterans the most pressing issues for them, including prosthetics, rehabilitation and work.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted that veterans should be a priority for employment at defense companies and instructed the relevant deputy heads of the Presidential Office to work on this with the Ministry of Strategic Industries and the Ministry of Defense.
He also supported the position that veterans should be involved as much as possible in the development and adoption of important government decisions.
In addition to the Titans.UA project, Dnipro region was the first in the country to implement the “I am a veteran” service. All ASC offices provide more than 500 services for veterans, their families, and family members of fallen defenders.
The region has also created a veteran's guide called Pixel, which contains all the necessary information on rehabilitation, prosthetics, education, work, business, sports and recreation.
