Zelensky congratulated the military in a video message he recorded on his phone while walking through the streets of the capital. People passed by and greeted the President.
He was walking to the wall of memory of the fallen Ukrainian military.
"December 6, 7 am. Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The day of the strong, the day of the brave, the day of the unbreakable. Men, women, soldiers, heroes. All those who continue to defend the state. All those who gave their own lives in order not to give up Ukraine," Zelensky said.
