"This year, Ukrzaliznytsia has made 1,100 evacuation flights from Kherson, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Sumy regions and evacuated more than 61,000 passengers, including almost 15,000 children and people with disabilities," UZ said.
The railroaders also transported nearly 4,500 wounded, including civilians with serious illnesses who needed special transportation conditions.
"At the end of this year, all railroad employees have one main wish: that at the end of next year, we could put the number "0" in the column "evacuated passengers". And to remove this line from the analytics for 2025, as there is no need for it," UZ adds.
