Ukrzaliznytsia has launched a new service that will allow military personnel to book tickets online, even if they are no longer on sale. This is reported by the press service of the company, reports UNN.

Special ticket ordering is available for 17 trains, which are the most popular among the military. In particular, these are routes to cities close to the combat zone and back.

The company said that to buy a ticket, a fighter needs to:
- leave a request on the portal no later than 6 hours before the train departs
- redeem the ticket at the ticket office no later than 1 hour before the train departs by presenting a military ID card or officer's certificate.
You can book tickets on the online portal, which is available at the link. So. Military personnel can book tickets both for themselves and for their fellow soldiers, with whom they are going on the road together.
From now on, military personnel can purchase a travel document, even if the trip is sudden, for example, for medical treatment, on a business trip or to visit relatives on a long-awaited vacation, and the tickets have already been sold out. The company recalled that earlier military personnel booked tickets through the military commandant. This significantly complicated the process and actually made it impossible to travel from day to day. After all, it was necessary to first make a personal visit to the military commandant, and then to the railway station to buy a ticket.
