The Ukrainian woman reportedly fell from a cliff about two meters high and unable to move, she sought help from her Russian roommate, sending him messages via Whatsapp and calling him on the phone, but he ignored the woman's pleas for help, who after a whole night spent in the vegetation, was found dead the next morning.
According to a check of a cell phone used by a 41-year-old man, a woman sent her partner a series of calls and texts on the afternoon of Saturday, July 13, that were desperate calls for help from a woman who had fallen on an isolated road near where they lived together. Despite several requests for help, the suspect did not act to rescue the woman.
According to the recovered records, during their relationship, the 41-year-old man repeatedly assaulted and threatened Martha Maria, even using a weapon such as a knife.
He once burned her clothes and intentionally threw her into a lit fire, causing second-degree burns to her buttocks, arms and abdomen. Moreover, he prevented her from frequent meetings and seeing members of his family, whom he hated because they were Ukrainian.
In one case, according to the sister of a deceased woman, he insulted them by calling them “shitty Ukrainians who should die”. In several cases, the woman had to seek help at the emergency department of Lakko Ameno Hospital.
