Ukraine's GDP grew by more than 5% in the first 11 months of this year, and growth is expected to continue despite the war

Ukraine's economy continues to recover despite the war, with GDP growth exceeding 5% in the first 11 months of this year, a trend that is expected to continue next year. This was reported on Monday by the First Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko, UNN reports.

Despite the war, the Ukrainian economy continues to recover. According to the Ministry of Economy, GDP growth for the first 11 months of this year exceeded 5%. For comparison, over the same period last year, GDP fell by 28.9%. We expect this positive trend to continue next year

According to her, GDP is projected to grow by 4.6% in 2024, 6.8% in 2025, and 6.6% in 2026.

"The services sector, including public administration and defense, is currently making the largest positive contribution to GDP. Manufacturing is the second largest contributor. Despite the significant losses and destruction during the war, industry is actively recovering," the Vice Prime Minister said.
