The Government of Ukraine has approved the concept of a modernization program for heat energy producers aimed at repairing infrastructure and reducing heat losses by up to 11% by 2030

Ukraine needs to implement energy efficiency measures and upgrade its critical infrastructure. On November 28, the government approved the concept of a program for the modernization of state and municipal enterprises producing thermal energy. This was announced on Tuesday by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, UNN reports.

Today, the concept of the program for the modernization of state and municipal enterprises producing thermal energy was approved. It includes major repairs, one hundred percent metering, increasing efficiency and reliability, and creating conditions for attracting investment,

Details

According to him, it is expected that by 2030, 3 thousand km of the heating network will be repaired, 35 thousand individual heating points will be installed, and heat losses will decrease to 11%.
