The Main Intelligence Directorate intercepted conversations of Russian commanders who ordered their subordinates to kill a Ukrainian prisoner, UNN reports with reference to the GUR.
"A radio interception obtained by military intelligence officers at the front shows how the commanders of the Russian occupation army give orders to their subordinates to commit a war crime - to shoot a prisoner. The recorded fact is another proof of the purposeful genocidal policy of the occupation army in the criminal war against Ukraine launched by Russia," the DIU said.
The intelligence noted that the enemy broadcast confirmed the serious injury of an occupier with the call sign "Thunderstorm", and another occupier with the call sign "Vulture", who was in the same group as "Thunderstorm", was ordered to tie him up with a tourniquet, give him painkillers, take a position and shoot back.
