Brovary continues to equip traffic lights with alternative power sources so that their operation does not depend on power outages. The third such facility has appeared at one of the city's intersections. This was reported by Brovary Mayor Ihor Sapozhko on his tg-channel, UNN informs.
The mayor reminded that the installation of alternative power sources for the city's traffic lights began in July. It is planned that all traffic lights in Brovary will be switched to non-stop operation.
"Today, the third traffic light - at the intersection of Petliura-Kyivska-Chubynskoho streets - has been equipped with inverter equipment independent of electricity.
In the near future, we plan to ensure the uninterrupted operation of another traffic light facility at the busiest intersection, and then gradually switch all traffic lights to non-stop mode," Sapozhko wrote.
