The Third Assault Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces won a victory in the Kharkiv region, liberating the village of Kopanky from the occupiers. In addition to the successful mopping-up operation, our soldiers captured a new batch of prisoners from the 1st Tank Army of the Russian Federation. This was reported by the official channel 3 of the Separate Special Forces Brigade, according to UNN.
The occupiers, trying to retreat, fired 152-caliber weapons at each other to avoid capture by Ukrainian forces. Their attempts at self-destruction did not work. Ukrainian soldiers successfully cleared the village and took a new batch of Russians prisoner, some of whom are already under investigation for crimes committed on the territory of Ukraine.
The village of Kopanky is now fully under the control of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
