There is no shortage of electricity in Ukraine, there are no restrictions, the Energy Ministry said on Saturday, UNN reports.
There is no shortage of electricity. Restrictions for consumers are not applied in any of the regions. All the blackouts are related to unfavorable weather conditions or hostilities
Generation and consumption
A unit of one of the thermal power plants was reportedly taken out for emergency short-term repairs yesterday. In the morning it was returned to operation - the unit carries a load of 100 MW of power.
"The generation produced by Ukrainian power plants is sufficient to cover the needs of consumers and industry. The situation is under control. The power system is balanced," the ministry said.
Blackouts
Due to a damaged switch at a Ukrenergo substation, an overhead line was reportedly disconnected, cutting off power to household consumers. But later, everyone was powered via a backup line.
ZNPP
"The water level in the cooling pond is 15.67 meters. This is enough to meet the needs of the plant," the Ministry of Energy said.
Import/export
Electricity imports per day, as noted, amounted to 686 MWh. No exports were carried out, the Ministry reported.
