The main Christmas tree of the country in Kyiv stands on St. Sophia Square, without mass events and celebrations, and all expenses were covered by patrons.
The KCIA reported that on December 3, installation work on the Christmas tree began at St. Sophia Square, and the opening will be on December 6, St. Nicholas Day.
Dobrutsky said that this year's main Christmas tree, along with toys, will be available for purchase, and the money will be donated to the Armed Forces. The charity sale may also include a photo zone.
The curfew regime will continue without exceptions during the Christmas and New Year holidays.
