Due to the bad weather in Odesa region, the Odesa-Reni highway is closed for all types of transport due to the intensification of the weather. This was reported by the Odesa City Council, according to UNN.
Details
Due to the intensification of bad weather, traffic on the M-15 Odesa-Reni highway (to Bucharest) is blocked for all types of transport. Traffic restrictions have also been imposed on heavy vehicles on the M-05 Kyiv-Odesa highway
It is noted that information on the lifting of the ban and the resumption of traffic will be provided additionally.

The city council added that Odesa police officers ensure traffic safety on slippery and snowy roads and help people who get into snowdrifts and accidents.

Several accidents occurred in Odesa region due to bad weather,resulting in two people being injured. In particular, a truck overturned and a bus slid into a ditch. Rescuers are actively working to clear the roads and provide assistance to vehicles.
