The Ministry of Defense is preparing a large system that will greatly simplify and speed up the possibility of payments to the families of fallen servicemen. The possibility of submitting this application in two clicks will be developed. This will be possible in the Army+ system. Deputy Defense Minister Kateryna Chernogorenko told UNN journalist.
When asked when it will be possible to apply online for payments to families due to the death of a soldier, Chernogorenko replied: "These payments concern the families of our servicemen, first of all. We are now working on the possibility of confirming the status of the family, because in order to verify the applicant and understand the relationship between the serviceman and the family, we need to find a legal framework. It is necessary to make technical exchanges with the relevant registers, in this case, the State Register of Civil Status Acts, if it is a wife and the fact is recorded. This is a high priority.
Chernogorenko noted that the back office is currently being digitalized for this opportunity.
"We are creating a large system that is not public, but will greatly simplify and speed up the possibility of payments to families and applicants in general. After we make a deep transformation, we will make it possible to submit this application in two clicks, I think in the coming days we will make an announcement when we are ready to do this. It will be in the Army+ system. That is, servicemen and their families are the ecosystem of Army+," Chernohorenko said.
