The government has approved the proposal of the Ministry of Defense to introduce escort services for military personnel, rank-and-file and senior civil defense officers, police officers and their families. This was announced by the government's representative in parliament, Taras Melnychuk, on Tuesday in Telegram, UNN reports.
In order to increase the motivation of servicemen, rank-and-file and senior civilian protection officers, and police officers to properly perform their military and official duties, support them and take care of their family members, the Ministry of Defense's proposal to introduce support services for servicemen, rank-and-file and senior civilian protection officers, police officers and their family members was agreed upon
The government also approved the procedure for organizing the activities of escort services. The Ministry of Defense, other ministries and state bodies that manage military formations, law enforcement and intelligence agencies are instructed to ensure the creation and operation of the relevant support services.
It is stipulated that the support service in a military unit is created to support servicemen, rank-and-file and senior civilian protection officers, police officers and members of their families, primarily those who have been injured (trauma, contusion, mutilation), illness, members of their families, as well as families of servicemen who went missing under special circumstances, were captured, or died while performing combat (service) missions.
