In 2023, the Ukrainian defense industry tripled its production capacity, and the goal for 2024 is to grow sixfold. This was stated on Wednesday by Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal at a government meeting, UNN reports.

According to him, more than UAH 265 billion is planned to be spent this year on the purchase, production and repair of weapons, and more than UAH 750 billion on payments to the military.
