In the summer of 2022, the band Imagine Dragons became an ambassador of the UNITED24 fundraising platform in the area of Reconstruction. And already in December, the Imagine Dragons' director of photography Ty Arnold came to Ukraine as a volunteer. In Novohryhorivka, Mykolaiv region, he met 14-year-old Sasha, whose house was destroyed by Russia.
Then Imagine Dragons made Sashko the main the main character of the video for the song Crushed, invited him to a concert in Warsaw and showed the whole world what the war had done to his home and village. Sasha's biggest dream was to return home.
The video was seen by representatives of the regular donor UNITED24, the Aurora multimarket chain. The company decided to rebuild Sasha's house from scratch in six months to rebuild Sasha's house from scratch in six months.
Thanks to UNITED24, Imagine Dragons and Aurora, Sasha now has a home.
