Two men were killed and an elderly woman was wounded as a result of an air strike by Russian troops on the village of Maksymivka in Donetsk region, said Vadym Filashkin, head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, UNN reports.

"2 people were killed and 1 wounded as a result of an air strike on Maksymivka in the Vuhledar community," Filashkin said in Telegram.
According to him, the Russians struck the village this afternoon, hitting a private house. "The bodies of two men born in 1964 and 1975 were found under the rubble," noted Filashkin.
He added that a 72-year-old woman was wounded and is being transported to a hospital.
The rescue operation at the scene has been completed.
