According to local sources, Rosgvardia officers are going around to households with registered weapons and taking them for the needs of the Russian army.
Hunters who find themselves in possession of weapons are forced to sign documents that allegedly confirm the "voluntary transfer" of property.
In case of refusal, gun owners are threatened with criminal prosecution.
The occupiers pay special attention to smoothbore weapons and shotgun shells that can be used to destroy drones. They also confiscate rifled firearms of 7.62, 8.6 and 12.7 mm caliber, which can be useful for the needs of the occupation forces.
