Prosecutor General of Ukraine Andriy Kostin took part in a meeting of the Friends of Ukraine group in the Canadian capital, where the parties discussed the main components of the global accountability architecture. This was reported by the Prosecutor General's Office, according to UNN.
Punishment of Russia and each individual criminal is a necessary condition for the restoration and maintenance of a world order based on rules and regulations. If the existing international legal mechanisms are not sufficient for this, we must be united, proactive and ready to develop new initiatives

The Prosecutor General held an informative meeting with Ambassador of the Netherlands to Canada Ines Koppuls, Ambassador of Ukraine to Canada Yulia Kovaliv and Irwin Kotler, founding chairman of the Center for Human Rights Raul Wallenberg. They raised the issue of Russia's responsibility for all the crimes it has committed. Andriy Kostin noted that the participation of a wide audience of diplomats, experts and representatives of international non-governmental organizations in the meeting is evidence of global solidarity with Ukraine and summarized: "This interest and support reinforces my firm belief that together we can stop Russia and restore justice and peace."
