There are 1308 people in frontline Avdiivka, but the number of those willing to leave the city has decreased, said Vitaliy Barabash, head of Avdiivka city military-civilian administration, during a telethon, reports UNN.
Details
According to Barabash, the evacuation from Avdiivka has been slowing down a bit in recent days. According to him, if a week and a half ago 10 to 12 people a day wanted to evacuate the city, now the number of people willing to leave has decreased by half.
Barabash noted that as of this morning, 1308 people still remain in the city, and another evacuation will take place today. Approximately 150 people remain in the city, including public utilities and representatives of the military administration.
In addition, 2 doctors and 14 nurses remain in the city and are permanently located in the city.
Barabash added that in the last couple of days the Russian pressure on Avdiivka has significantly increased, which is reflected in the number of shelling and the number of air strikes.
To recap,
In the Avdiivka sector, Ukrainian Armed Forces snipers killed 12 Russian occupants and wounded three in an hour.
