Starting November 26, weather forecasters predict significant cold snaps and precipitation in Odesa region. In this regard, the head of the Regional State Administration Oleh Kiper held a meeting with the heads of district administrations, heads of emergency and road services to address the consequences of the weather, UNN reports.

Thus, according to Kiper, the region has prepared:
- 307 units of snow removal equipment, 58 more need to be prepared;
- 190 tons of fuel and lubricants;
- 22,025 tons of sand;
- 3,476 tons of technical salt.
In addition, according to Kiper, if necessary, the Indestructibility Points will be deployed. Also, 1468 generators have been prepared for social facilities (hospitals, kindergartens, schools, etc.).
The head of the EMA called on drivers and pedestrians to be careful on the roads of Odesa region. Simple rules ("change tires", reduce speed) can save lives, he emphasized.
"I also ask our utility companies to work clearly and in a coordinated manner. A lot will depend on your work. Let's not forget about our Heroes. It is the hardest and coldest time for them. From big volunteer deeds to a simple warm "thank you", it is very important for them," summarized Kiper
