According to Starovoit, a car is inspected for only six minutes while crossing the Crimean Bridge, while buses are inspected for up to 15 minutes.
Earlier, Petro Andriushchenko, an advisor to the mayor of Mariupol, said that the Russian authorities had tightened the rules for traveling across the bridge. He pointed out that about 10 km from the bridge, electronic warfare equipment starts working, jamming GPS.
In addition, cars need to be checked, just like when crossing the border. There are two options: scanner and manual inspection.
