In particular, in Kharkiv and 3 settlements of Kharkiv region, consumers were reportedly cut off from electricity as a result of shelling. The extent of the damage is being clarified.
"The situation in the power system is stable and under control," the Ministry of Energy said.
At the same time, according to Ukrenergo, consumption is at a record high for this heating season and Ukrenergo is forced to again attract emergency assistance from Romania and Poland from 11:00 to 19:00. Ukrainians were urged to consume electricity sparingly to avoid shortages.
"The situation in the power system remains difficult. Due to the cold snap, consumption is at the highest level for the heating season," Ukrenergo said.
At the same time, no consumption limits have been introduced, no blackout schedules have been introduced and are not expected, Ukrenergo said.
