In the Zhovkva community in Lviv region, a Veteran's Headquarters has been launched in the framework of the MHP-Roach reintegration program for military and veterans at the initiative of the MHP Community Foundation, Zakhid-Agro MHP, the Ukrainian Veterans Fund, the Zhovkva City Council and the NGO Volunteer Association, reports UNN.
Details
At the Veterans' Headquarters, every veteran will be able to get professional legal or psychological advice, as well as simply communicate with their comrades, colleagues or volunteers. The space will also be used for the work of an art psychologist with the children of the fallen and for various events for the military and their families.
"Starting from February 24, 2022, more than 2,300 employees of MHP enterprises left their offices, production facilities and fields to defend Ukrainian statehood. The military are the future veterans and the program "MHP Next Door", which we have launched, is aimed at creating all the conditions, allocating resources and building a system for their effective reintegration. The opening of the Veterans' Headquarters in Zhovkva is one of its elements. We help not only our mobilized employees, but also the residents of the communities where MHP enterprises operate," says Pavlo Moroz, Director of Corporate Social Responsibility at MHP.
The main focus of MHP's work will be on developing veterans' spaces in communities, supporting rehabilitation centers and improving the quality of medical services in communities, and stimulating entrepreneurship among veterans and their families. The program provides individualized support and comprehensive assistance to military personnel, veterans and their families, as well as those waiting for their loved ones to return from war.
"Our company has mobilized employees. We are looking forward to their return, and it is our duty to help them adapt. For our part, we provide veterans with health checks, treatment and rehabilitation. We provide legal and psychological support. We help with retraining and adaptation. If necessary, we create a new job," comments Tetiana Valanchyus, Director of Zakhid-Agro MHP LLC.
