Experts overseeing the construction of fortifications in the Kyiv region have reported minor deficiencies in the work of the contractors involved. Ruslan Kravchenko, the head of the Kyiv RMA, gave the contractors three days to eliminate all the problems. UNN reports with reference to Kravchenko's Facebook post.
Details
Kravchenko held a meeting with contractors involved in the construction of fortifications and experts from two institutes that control this process. These are the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise and the Bokarius Institute of Forensic Expertise named after Hon. Prof. M.S. Bokarius.
The specialists of KFI have examined the design and estimate documentation, provided reports, and are currently carrying out technical supervision of the construction, checking financial statements, and conducting construction and technical expertise. Separate construction and technical expertise is carried out by specialists of the Bokarius Institute.
We heard the comments of experts. They are insignificant. I gave the contractors three days to eliminate the deficiencies. There is no other option. Our task is to build reliable and safe facilities that meet the highest standards. We have to ensure people's safety. It is difficult to achieve this without constant monitoring, as well as without a dialog between all those involved in this process
The head of the CRMA emphasized that important and effective anti-corruption safeguards include a multi-level independent examination of the quality of work, prices for materials and their compliance with market prices, and the scope and completeness of work. The CRMA takes all measures to properly perform its tasks.
