In Kherson, there was a a debate about whether to accept district heating in buildings. The local authorities urged people not to refuse and accept the heat, UNN writes, citing Roman Mrochko, head of the Kherson MVA.
"You can see how problematic the heating season is this year. In Korabelnyi district, we are are just starting to supply heat, despite the fact that the first month of of winter is about to end. There are several reasons for this and they are known - merciless enemy shelling, which leads to significant destruction; deterioration of heating mains; absence of many citizens," Mr. Mrochko said.
He emphasized that despite all these objective factors, the authorities are striving to to create more or less comfortable conditions for people who stay in the city.
"But there is still a debate about whether it is economically feasible to heat your home. economically viable?
We emphasize that multi-storey buildings need to be heated, so that over time, irreversible processes do not begin and those who who are now in Kherson and those who have left and want to return.
