The investigation of the criminal proceedings against Vitaliy Shabunin, head of the Anti-Corruption Action Center, has been sabotaged for over 4 months due to Shabunin's close acquaintance with Olefirenko, deputy director of the SBI.

The investigation of the criminal proceedings against the head of the Anti-Corruption Action Center Vitaliy Shabunin for evading military service has been sabotaged for more than 4 months. This was stated by journalist Volodymyr Boyko.

He notes that the criminal proceedings against Shabunin were registered at his request back in December 2023. But the case has not moved since then. So in April 2024, the court ordered the territorial office of the State Bureau of Investigation in Kyiv to immediately launch a pre-trial investigation into Shabunin's unauthorized abandonment of his place of service.

Boyko suggests that this delay is due to Shabunin's close acquaintance with SBI Deputy Director Roman Olefirenko.

Wasn't it you who ordered the case against Shabunin not to be investigated and even forbade him (the investigator - ed.) to comply with the court's decision?

- Boyko asks.

He said that they were introduced by former NABU director Artem Sytnyk, with whom Olefirenko is not only friends, but also has an apartment next door in the center of Kyiv.

As a reminder, the State Bureau of Investigation is investigating two criminal cases against Shabunin - for evading mobilization and forging NACP documents.

Earlier, former Health Minister Uliana Suprun admittedthat the work of Ukrainian anti-corruption activists in the West played against Ukraine's interests during the war. And that is why our partners are not providing weapons to our country now.
