Russian troops were most active in the Pokrovsk sector near Novooleksandrivka. A total of 146 combat engagements took place in the frontline yesterday.

There were 146 combat engagements in the frontline over the last day. Russian troops were most active in the Pokrovsk sector, where 42 combat engagements took place. The highest concentration of enemy attacks was near Novooleksandrivka. This is stated in the report of the General Staff as of 8:00 a.m. on July 11, UNN reports

Details 

According to the updated information, over the past day, the enemy launched four missile attacks on the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas using nine missiles, as well as 56 air strikes using 68 combat aircraft. In addition, it carried out more than 4000 attacks, including 116 using multiple launch rocket systems. 

Over the past day, the aviation, missile forces and artillery of the Defense Forces conducted 12 strikes on the areas of concentration of enemy personnel and weapons, and also hit two artillery systems and one radar station.

According to the General Staff, the situation in the following areas is as follows:  

In the Kharkiv sector, the enemy continued offensive actions . Nine combat engagements took place in the vicinity of Liptsy and Vovchansk.

In the Kupyansk sector , the number of attacks amounted to 10 over the last day. Defense forces repelled all enemy assaults near Sinkivka, Stepova Novoselivka, Pishchane and Berestove.

In the Liman sector, the enemy attacked 14 times in the areas of Hrekivka, Makiivka, Nevske and Terny.

In the Northern sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled 17 Russian assaults near Verkhnekamianske, Bilohorivka, Spirne, Rozdolivka and Vyymka.

In the Kramatorsk sector, the enemy attacked six times in the areas of Hryhorivka, Chasovyi Yar, Ivanivske and Klishchiyivka.

In the Toretsk sector, the enemy carried out 24 attacks near the localities of Pivnichne, Nyzhnyk, Toretsk and Deliivka.

In the Pokrovsky sector, our defenders repelled 42 assault attacks in the areas of Novooleksandrivka, Vozdvyzhenka, Prohres, Kalynove, Lozuvatske, Novoselivka Persha, Yurivka, Yevhenivka and Karlivka, where the invaders, supported by aviation, tried to force  Ukrainian Armed Forces units  from their positions. The largest concentration of enemy attacks was near Novooleksandrivka.

In the Kurakhove sector, Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled 12 attacks near Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Paraskoviivka, Dale, Nevske and Kostiantynivka, where the enemy tried to break through the defense of our troops.

In the Vremivsk sector, the enemy made seven attacks on our positions in the area of Vodiane, Kostiantynivka, Urozhayne and Makarivka.

In the Gulyaypol sector, the occupants tried to advance in the area of Gulyaypol but failed.

In the Orikhivsk sector, two combat engagements took place near Mala Tokmachka and Robotyne.

In the Prydniprovskyi sector, the occupants continue to try to drive the Defense Forces units from their positions on the bridgeheads. Two Russian attacks failed on the left bank of the Dnipro near Krynky.

The General Staff also noted that the operational situation on the Volyn and Polissya directions has not changed significantly. There are no signs of enemy offensive groups forming.

According to the General Staff, the enemy maintains a military presence on the border with Chernihiv and Sumy regions, shelling settlements from the territory of the Russian Federation, and increasing the density of minefields along the state border of Ukraine.

"At the same time, our soldiers continue to actively inflict losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces, exhausting the enemy along the entire combat line," the General Staff emphasized.
