In Dubno region, police are establishing the circumstances of a sixth-grader's injuries at school. Juvenile police officers are handling the case. This was reported by the press service of the Rivne regional police, according to UNN.
Today a woman with her 11-year-old son, a student of a lyceum, came to the hospital. Doctors diagnosed the boy with a non-penetrating stab wound to the abdomen. It is known that the sixth-grader was stabbed in the stomach and cut by a peer during a conflict when the victim stood up for his friend.

According to law enforcement, the boy did not immediately realize he was injured and went to class. Later he felt sick, noticed the cut and told his classmate. The latter turned to the school nurse.
Currently, the child's life is not in danger, he is under medical supervision.
Juvenile police officers began to investigate the circumstances of the incident. According to them, the second participant in the conflict explained that he did not want such consequences. He said that he had bought the knife he was carrying with him at a local store.
The parents will be responsible for the student's actions. The issue of bringing them to administrative responsibility is currently being decided.
