IDF Southern Command chief Maj. Gen. Yaron Finkelman says the fighting in the Gaza Strip "will continue in various methods, with varying intensity and in various forms," reports UNN citing the Times of Israel.
Finkelman's statements came during a visit to the Daraj and Tuffa neighborhoods in Gaza City, where the army believes the last active Hamas battalion in northern Gaza is located.
He says that because of the change in combat methods, "it will be difficult for the enemy to identify and understand them."
"We will continue to strike Hamas here and in all parts of the sector," Finkelman adds.
