Israel and Hamas agreed to exchange prisoners. Hamas promised to release 50 prisoners held in the Gaza Strip by the end of the month in exchange for 150 Palestinian prisoners.
Today, Hamas began releasing hostages as part of the deal with Israel, and the first 13 of them headed to Israel through the Rafah crossing.
