One person has died in Belgium amid heavy rains that hit the country, UNN reports citing Reuters.

Details

A 59-year-old woman died in the Belgian province of East Flanders on Tuesday after being hit by a fence that had been torn down during heavy rainfall in the country, local governor Karina Van Cauter said in a statement on Wednesday.

No large-scale evacuation is currently planned in the region, Van Cauter added.
