Details

The Crimean Tatar community has managed to get confirmation that 61-year-old Ediya Muslimova was abducted by the fsb. Since yesterday she has been held in the building of the russian fsb in Crimea.

We have confirmation from Crimea - Ediya Muslimova was forced into a car yesterday and taken to an unknown destination by russian fsb punishers. She is currently being held in a russian fsb building. We do not know about her status, but based on the experience of previous hundreds of similar detentions with other Crimean Tatars, it is possible that from the moment of detention and before the presentation of official suspicion, and almost a day has passed, Ediye Muslimova is under pressure to force her to admit the charges invented by the punishers

- Refat Chubarov wrote.

Ediya Muslimova, the editor of the 'Armancık' magazine, has not been in touch since Thursday. At the moment, both the journalist's personal and work phones are disconnected. Ediye Muslimova's car is still parked outside the house. Her relatives filed a statement with the russian police and started searching for her, her niece Elzara Muslimova said.
