The MHP-Hromada Charitable Foundation is giving away a weekend for two at Grandma's House in Cherkasy region. This is an atmospheric place in Liplypove, Kaniv region, which will take you back to your childhood in the countryside and give you vivid memories of summer. All the details of the draw are on the page of MHP-Community in Instagram, reports UNN.
"Grandmother's House" is a green tourism project by Anna Sukhobrus, a former resident of Kaniv and now a resident of the capital, who takes care of an old 130-year-old hut that she managed to restore and fill with things of Ukrainian life. Here you can find an ancient chest, icons, a stove, towels, and pottery. In the middle of the hut there is a straw-covered floor, a fireplace, a couch, and a bench. Everything is just like my grandmother's in the village.
According to Anna Sukhobrus, the value of this project is not just to preserve the atmosphere of the Ukrainian village, but to be able to touch our national life and feel what surrounded us in childhood.
"For me, since childhood, the village is a space of freedom where you can do anything. My association with my childhood is when you come back after the holidays and all your classmates are talking about the village, and I couldn't understand what is so special about these villages. So I always wanted to go to the countryside. Now I have the opportunity to convey those childhood feelings to everyone who also loves our Ukrainian village," emphasizes Anna Sukhobrus.
