The Integrated Food Security Classification (IPC) reported that in northern Gaza, 70% of the population faces the highest level of hunger, which is 20% above the threshold and considered critical.
The IPC also stated that there is not enough data on mortality, but it is estimated that 2 out of every 10,000 people die every day from hunger or malnutrition and disease.
