DTEK has increased its efforts to eliminate the consequences of bad weather in the Odessa region by attracting additional resources

to eliminate the consequences of bad weather in the Odessa region, DTEK used additional resources of contractors and increased the number of teams. This is reported by DTEK Odessa electric networks, reports UNN.

we have used additional resources of contractors and attracted 7 teams from the Podolsk district, where the situation has already stabilized. As of today, 2 teams from Nikolaevoblenergo and 2 more from Odessamisksvet have come to our aid. We are working in an enhanced mode,

reported in DTEK.

They added that 178 teams work daily in the Odessa region, which is 206 pieces of equipment and 532 specialists. Over the past day, on November 29, DTEK returned electricity for 37 thousand families in 133 localities of the region, repaired 64 overhead lines and 997 transformer substations.

"As of 8:30 today, November 30, 25 thousand families in 109 settlements of the Odessa region remain without electricity," DTEK said.

the company also noted that the work on restoring light is complicated by weather conditions - according to DTEK, in the southern regions, snowdrifts on the roads reach two meters.

however, the third day in the Odessa region thaw, and what could not have been cleaned by Public Utilities - melted by itself. As reported by UNN, people leave relevant comments and photos under DTEK posts, in particular emphasizing that everything is clean in a particular locality and there are no problems with access to emergency power lines.

we also recall that earlier UNN reported that the problem with the restoration of light in the Odessa region may be a catastrophic shortage of personnel. Odessa region is the largest region in Ukraine by territory, and the number of DTEK work teams does not cover the number of localities. These days, one DTEK working team accounted for two or three settlements that were left without electricity.
