Conscription to military units will be carried out through recruitment, which will take place in ASCs, employment centers and recruitment centers, but voluntarily. MP Mariana Bezuhla announced these upcoming changes in mobilization training on her Facebook page, UNN reports.
Details
According to Bezuhla, the new draft law proposes to establish that direct conscription to military units will take place through recruitment. Recruitment will take place in ASCs, employment centers and recruitment centers.
"A person mobilized during training is a recruit (cannot be used except for training; capabilities, physical ability, and actual fitness are determined; lesser financial support). The possibility of sending a citizen to the front unprepared is completely removed. If a recruit does not pass the training stage, he or she can be dismissed without additional costs to the state," Bezuhla wrote on her Facebook page.
According to her, the draft law will also remove the concept of "limited use".
"Only the fit and the unfit remain. Some will be unfit, some will be fit. Re-passing the military qualification commission. The possibility of military service under the draft during mobilization at the request of a person sentenced to serve a sentence of probation," Bezuhla added.
