Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksiy Danilov named four conditions for the resumption of air traffic in Ukraine during a telethon: airport protection, insurance, infrastructure and an airline that will operate flights, UNN reports .
Details
According to Danilov, the issue of resuming air traffic is very important.
Several proposals to restore air service are being considered, "but there are four key components that need to be addressed."
First, it is the protection of those airports where it is decided to start using aircraft. Second, the infrastructure must be ready. It (the infrastructure - ed.) must be certified and ready to start flights. There must be an insurance mechanism in place, because without insurance, no one will deal with such issues during martial law. And, of course, the company that will undertake these flights is also an issue.
He added that sooner or later these issues will be resolved through joint efforts.
"I think we will definitely get this issue off the ground next year," Danilov summarized.
