The consequences of the bad weather, which was accompanied by snowfall, are still being eliminated in a number of regions in the south and central part of Ukraine, with the epicenter of the cyclone shifting to the north. As of 2 p.m. on Monday, November 27, according to Ukravtodor, traffic on public roads was free.
However, traffic is still blocked on 12 roads: in Mykolaiv (8), Odesa (3), and Kirovohrad (1) regions. At the same time, the movement of heavy vehicles is prohibited on the roads in Mykolaiv (1), Cherkasy (3), Odesa (1), and Kirovohrad (1) regions.
The number of towns and villages without electricity has decreased in Ukraine - 1638 settlements in 17 regions were still without power.
SES units towed 1130 vehicles and removed 164 trees.
Odesa region:
SES units were engaged 216 times, 533 vehicles were towed. 44 trees were removed, 1,658 people were assisted, including 117 children. One mobile heating station was set up.
Cherkasy region:
60 cars were towed, 25 trees and 1 billboard were removed. A SES unit set up a mobile heating station.
Kirovograd region:
Near the village of Velyka Vyska, Novoukrainsk district, a 2 km long traffic jam was cleared. There are 30 trucks on the roadside. 204 cars were towed, 41 trees were removed, and 310 people were helped. 4 heating stations were deployed.
Mykolaiv region:
SES units were engaged 58 times, 108 vehicles were towed, 17 trees were removed. An additional SES snowplow was used.
According to the National Police, there are about 1,735 trucks in temporary storage areas in Dnipropetrovs'k, Odesa, Vinnytsia, Kirovohrad, Mykolaiv, Cherkasy, and Kyiv regions.
